DMGC India (“DMGC”, “Organizer”, “We”, “Us”, or “Our”) organizes and administers esports tournaments, competitions, events, and related activities.
This Refund & Cancellation Policy (“Refund Policy”) explains the terms applicable to payments made for participation in DMGC India tournaments and events.
By purchasing a Tournament Slot, making a payment, or participating in a DMGC India tournament or event, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Refund Policy and agree to its applicable terms.
Nothing in this Refund Policy is intended to exclude or restrict any refund, cancellation, consumer protection, or other legal right that cannot lawfully be excluded or restricted under applicable law.
DMGC India may collect a Tournament Slot Price or Participation Slot Price for participation in specific tournaments, competitions, or events.
The applicable Tournament Slot Price will be displayed before payment is completed.
The Tournament Slot Price is paid for securing participation in the relevant tournament or event and does not constitute a wager, betting stake, gambling stake, or payment made for the purpose of placing a bet.
Because tournament slots may be limited and may involve advance planning, venue arrangements, staffing, technical resources, scheduling, administration, and other event-related commitments, Tournament Slot Prices are generally non-refundable and non-transferable once the applicable slot has been successfully allocated or participation has been confirmed, subject to this Refund Policy and applicable law.
Unless otherwise required by applicable law or expressly stated for a particular tournament, refunds will generally not be available in the following circumstances:
Failure of a player or team to participate in the tournament;
Voluntary withdrawal after a Tournament Slot has been allocated or participation has been confirmed;
Failure to attend the applicable event;
Disqualification resulting from a violation of tournament rules;
Failure to meet eligibility requirements;
Failure to qualify where qualification forms part of the applicable tournament structure;
Internet connectivity problems;
Device, hardware, software, or equipment problems;
Game-server or platform-related issues beyond DMGC India’s reasonable control;
Personal circumstances preventing participation;
Submission of incorrect, incomplete, unauthorized, or inaccurate information;
Violation of these Terms & Conditions;
Violation of tournament-specific rules;
Violation of applicable policies or community standards; or
Any other circumstance specifically identified in the applicable tournament rules or event-specific refund terms.
If DMGC India cancels an entire tournament or event and the event is not conducted, DMGC India may, subject to the circumstances and applicable law, provide one of the following remedies:
A full refund of the applicable Tournament Slot Price;
A partial refund;
A replacement participation opportunity;
Credit toward a future tournament or event; or
Another reasonable alternative arrangement.
The applicable remedy may depend on the reason for cancellation, event arrangements, payment processing requirements, third-party commitments, and other relevant circumstances.
Where reasonably practicable, DMGC India will communicate the applicable cancellation and refund arrangement through its official communication channels.
DMGC India reserves the right to make reasonable changes to tournament or event arrangements where necessary.
Such changes may include:
Tournament date;
Event schedule;
Match schedule;
Tournament format;
Match structure;
Qualification criteria;
Venue;
Prize structure;
Operational procedures;
Tournament rules;
Technical arrangements; or
Other event-related details.
Such changes may occur due to operational, technical, administrative, sponsorship, security, legal, regulatory, or unforeseen circumstances.
A modification, rescheduling, or reasonable change to an event does not automatically create a right to a refund, provided that the applicable arrangement remains substantially consistent with the relevant tournament or event and subject to any rights provided under applicable law.
Where a material change results in the event being substantially different from what was originally offered, DMGC India may determine an appropriate remedy in accordance with applicable law and the circumstances of the event.
DMGC India shall not be responsible for delays, interruptions, postponements, modifications, or cancellations caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control.
Such circumstances may include:
Natural disasters;
Severe weather;
Government actions;
Regulatory restrictions;
Internet infrastructure failures;
Widespread service outages;
Game-server failures;
Game publisher actions;
Cybersecurity incidents;
Strikes;
Pandemics;
Public-health emergencies;
Riots;
Civil unrest;
War;
Terrorism;
Power failures;
Major technical failures; or
Other extraordinary circumstances beyond reasonable control.
Where an event is affected by force majeure circumstances, DMGC India may, where reasonably practicable, reschedule the event, modify the event arrangements, provide an alternative participation opportunity, issue applicable credit, or determine another appropriate remedy.
Any refund entitlement arising from such circumstances will be determined in accordance with applicable law and the circumstances of the particular event.
DMGC India is an independent esports tournament organizer.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, DMGC India is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or administered by any game publisher or platform.
This includes, where applicable, game publishers such as KRAFTON, Inc. and other third-party game publishers.
Any account suspension, account ban, restriction, game update, server issue, maintenance, policy change, enforcement action, technical decision, or other action taken independently by a game publisher or platform may affect tournament participation.
Where such circumstances are outside DMGC India’s reasonable control, they will generally not create an automatic entitlement to a refund.
However, where DMGC India itself cancels or materially changes an event as a direct result of such circumstances, any applicable refund or alternative arrangement will be determined in accordance with this Refund Policy, the relevant event terms, and applicable law.
Participants are responsible for their own personal expenses associated with participation in DMGC India events.
Such expenses may include:
Travel;
Transportation;
Accommodation;
Food;
Fuel;
Parking;
Local transportation;
Visa or documentation expenses; and
Other personal expenses.
Unless expressly agreed otherwise in writing, DMGC India is not responsible for reimbursing such personal expenses.
Participants should consider their personal travel and accommodation arrangements before making non-refundable bookings in connection with an event.
If DMGC India cancels or materially changes an event, participants should independently review any third-party booking cancellation or refund options available to them.
If a participant believes that a payment has been duplicated, incorrectly charged, or processed in error, the participant may contact DMGC India through its official support channels.
DMGC India may request reasonable payment evidence, including:
Transaction ID;
UTR number;
Payment reference;
Payment confirmation;
Transaction date and time; or
Other relevant transaction information.
If a duplicate or erroneous payment is verified, DMGC India may process an appropriate refund for the verified duplicate or erroneous amount.
Refunds may be subject to payment-provider processing procedures and applicable banking timelines.
Where a refund request is permitted under this Refund Policy, the applicable tournament terms, or applicable law, the participant may be required to submit the request through DMGC India’s official support channel.
A refund request may require:
Participant name;
Tournament or event name;
Tournament Slot details;
Transaction ID or UTR;
Payment confirmation;
Reason for the refund request; and
Any other information reasonably necessary for verification.
DMGC India may verify the request before approving or rejecting it.
Submission of a refund request does not automatically guarantee approval.
Any approved refund will be processed within a reasonable period following verification and approval.
The actual time required for the funds to appear in the participant’s account may vary depending on:
Payment method;
Bank;
Payment provider;
Payment gateway;
Card network;
UPI system;
Banking holidays;
Transaction processing times; and
Other third-party financial infrastructure.
DMGC India is not responsible for delays caused solely by a third-party payment provider, bank, card network, or financial institution beyond DMGC India’s reasonable control.
Where applicable, refunds will generally be made using the original payment method or another legally and operationally appropriate method.
Participants are requested to contact DMGC India through official support channels before initiating a payment dispute or chargeback relating to a transaction.
Participants must not knowingly initiate fraudulent, unauthorized, or unjustified chargebacks.
Where a payment dispute or chargeback is initiated, DMGC India may provide relevant transaction records, payment confirmations, Tournament Slot information, event participation records, and other relevant documentation to the applicable payment provider, bank, payment network, or dispute-resolution authority.
Where permitted by applicable law and the relevant payment-provider rules, DMGC India may temporarily suspend or restrict the relevant account or participation while a disputed transaction is being investigated.
Nothing in this section prevents a participant from exercising a legitimate legal, consumer, or payment-dispute right available under applicable law.
A Tournament Slot allocated to a participant or team may not be transferred, sold, assigned, or given to another person without prior authorization from DMGC India where such transfer is permitted.
Where a participant is replaced in accordance with tournament rules, the replacement participant may be required to satisfy all applicable eligibility and verification requirements.
Unauthorized transfer or resale of a Tournament Slot may result in cancellation of the slot without refund, subject to applicable law.
If a participant or team is disqualified because of a violation of tournament rules, fair-play requirements, eligibility requirements, these Terms & Conditions, or other applicable policies, the participant will generally not be entitled to a refund of the Tournament Slot Price.
This does not affect any rights that cannot legally be excluded under applicable law.
Where a prize or reward is also affected by a disqualification, the applicable tournament rules shall determine the participant’s eligibility.
DMGC India will review refund requests based on:
This Refund Policy;
Applicable tournament-specific rules;
Payment records;
Event status;
Participant eligibility;
The reason for the refund request;
Applicable legal requirements; and
Other relevant circumstances.
DMGC India’s determination regarding a refund request will be communicated through the applicable support or communication channel.
Such determination will be subject to applicable law and any mandatory rights available to the participant.
Making a payment or purchasing a Tournament Slot does not create an automatic right to a refund.
Refund eligibility depends on the circumstances of the transaction, the applicable tournament or event terms, this Refund Policy, and applicable law.
Participants are encouraged to carefully review the tournament details, Tournament Slot Price, eligibility requirements, schedule, rules, and applicable refund terms before completing a payment.

Changes may be made due to:
Changes in tournament operations;
Changes in payment methods;
Changes in event structures;
Changes in applicable law;
Regulatory requirements;
Payment-provider requirements;
Operational requirements; or
Other legitimate business reasons.
Updated versions of this Refund Policy may be published on the official DMGC India website or applicable platform.
The revised policy will become effective from the date specified in the updated version.
Participants are encouraged to review the Refund & Cancellation Policy before purchasing a Tournament Slot.
This Refund & Cancellation Policy is intended to explain DMGC India’s general approach to refunds, cancellations, Tournament Slot payments, and payment-related disputes.
Nothing in this policy is intended to:
Exclude mandatory consumer rights;
Restrict any refund right that cannot legally be excluded;
Override applicable law;
Misrepresent the nature of DMGC India’s services; or
Guarantee approval of a refund where no legal or contractual entitlement exists.
Where applicable law provides a participant with rights or protections that cannot legally be excluded or restricted, those rights shall continue to apply.
This Refund & Cancellation Policy should be read together with the DMGC India Terms & Conditions, Privacy Policy, Tournament Rules, Fair Play Policy, and other applicable event-specific terms.
